Actually it will be very nice if the people post their ages along with the reaction times.

My best one was 280msec and I am 27
are those with the smaller reactions younger or what?!

I don't trust the .exe, sry. Especially at work.

This was my average of 10 tries.

      30 yrs old.

The webpage results are faster than the application times because it fires on mouse up instead of mouse down. I liked your app though so I made my own

        BF2 Reflex Tester

with a mouse up or mouse down option, and added in space bar trigger so I could see if I'm faster with the mouse or keyboard.

165 ms on average with mine, 210 with yours, 180 on the web version, 27 yrs old.

        Edit: Fixed link.

Thank you for the informative post. I though MouseDown should triger faster because it happens before MouseUp. I will try it though. Thanks!

It seems that the link you provided does not work.

If you're clicking then mouse down is faster, but if you fire on mouse up (like on the website), you can hold down the button while waiting and release to fire, and it shaves some miliseconds off. That's why the website times are faster on average.

BTW, Dice should have built this game into the map load screen, so we could brush up on our reflexes while waiting. I'm getting faster!

You're right. I fixed it, though probably not for long. Can anyone suggest a good place to host files?

                          Hi boss!

If you have all of microsoft stuff installed then you just need to download this little program:

I hope you did not download the source code at the end of the first post! you do not need it. it is just their for those who may want to look at some code.

The file above is hosted here locally with my ISP and I wrote the code by myself.. so there is no need to worry about viruses or trojans. You can trust me with that one KuRdIsHwArLoRd47 :)

I decided to do a little interesting test with that ReflexGame site...
I did a series of trials while the subject was in different chemical states. Each trial was preformed by clicking when the color comes up (not clicking and holding the stop before hand). All trials were done via sets of 10. Errors were dissmissed and re-done.

First set of trials, purely subject chemically unaltered.
                                Average: .32
Note: Only one mistake made during this first trial. We can safely assume that the subject's "skill" at the test is not a factor.
Observation: Subject has slightly above average reflexes. This gives a base line from which to gauge other trials.

Second set or trials preformed 10 minutes after subject rapidly ingested a large cup of coffee (containing sugar and artifical creamer).
                                Average: .27
Note: Many more mistakes were made due to miss-clicks during this trial.
Observation: Coffee enhances reflex time at the cost of accurcy. This is unsuprising.

Thrid set preformed 10 minutes after the subject inhaled the smoke resulting from the inceneration of smoking aprox .2 g 'o happy green herb thus infusing his system with THC.
                                Average: .30
Note: Number of mistakes drasticy reduced. Caffine was NOT cleared from the subject's system before preforming this test and thus is a factor in these times.
Observation: THC seems to reduce reflex time slighty as opposed to purely coffee enchanced trials, but does not impair it beyond the baseline. It's suprising to note that few mistakes were made during this test. Apparently "zoning out" increases accuracy.

Overall findings: Unable to post at this time. Subject is in dire need of a "munchie" run.
                                Side note: Science is fun!
