omg! bf2:sf breaks bf light armor transport vehicles

i was getting tired of playing bf2:sf so i went to play bf2 and i noticed that when i entered light armor transport vehicles in bf2 games i could drive and use all seating positions, but i could not shoot from the secondary position using the vehicles guns. Get into a humvee press F2 and try shooting. You can't! Not only that but you cant move the gun around! Can anyone reproduce this bug?

No, works fine for me. Are you sure you didn't re-map some movement keys or something?

no i even appear at a strange position, slightly lower that i would have normally been. this bug does not affect bf2:sf maps only when playing normally bf2 maps. i'm talking about vehicles like humvees and fans. i can't use their guns.

This happens to me as well...but if you ask somebody else to watch you, it appears to them as if the gun is working properly, whereas from your POV, it's clicking and nothing is happening.

It's an odd bug that I have personally experienced a couple of times.

If that is NOT what you're talking about, then you might want to use 'Reset to Defaults' on your controls in case something got fudged up.

well i would like to thank you for trying. it must be something between our two installs. maybe if i uninstall and and reinstall it the problem will go away.

happend to me, not pointing fingers but happend straight after i installed the tactical war beta, happend with one of their custom light buggys, 2nd seat was lower than normal, reminded me of wallace and gromits motorbike :p, anyway i uninstalled the mod and it started wroking properly again, have u got the mod installed?

if you have a logitech keyboard maybe your hitting "f lock" by mistake?

i have a microsoft keyboard and it has f lock. but i think that Kayess got it better. what does f lock have to do with i my function keys are working great.
