Reinstall Problems

Hey guys,

I have been having problems with reinstallation of BF2. I had it installed and running correctly for a some time. I was unabled to connect to the internet for some time so I could not enjoy the mutiplayer part of BF2. So I install some mods to the single player part to give me alittle to do while it was down. I got my internet connection back so I went to play online agian however it wouldnt run because of modded files from oringinal.

So I use uninstal wizzard and removed Bf2 and then went to reinstall and recieves this error. I followed the "How to uninstall" threads and deleted the regestries etc etc. but get the same error. My disk seem fine however I have not ruled out currupt disk as my problem. Any suggestions welcomed!

You have to manually install the game. Also when it gives you the error about modded files, chances are it is because your PunkBuster was out of date. Anyways here is a link that explains how to install the game manually:

I can't uninstall completely or install special forces. How do i do this or delete the registry key? what is it?
