Hi! I've been lurking on the boards since late September/ early October, but this is my first post here. I'm posting to say:
Sorry! To the clan of a certain server which my buddies logged onto with my name and proceeded to behave like noobs. I wasn't going to post, but I figured I should, to let people know that I'm not an ass, and that I don't like to stand on an ally's C4 to keep him from blowing up a command asset. Sorry, again, and know that those responsible have been cuffed about the head for their antics.
Finally, I just have to declare, "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is up with this game?" It's a load of fun, yes, but it's so damn buggy. It takes ten minutes to load a level, since every third time I get kicked for Idling While Loading, or Corrupted Data Packet. Then, when I get in, people are in enemy uniforms, appearing on the UAV scans as enemy, and having red tags over them, but when shot... you get a TK punish. Add this to the fun of flashbangs and teargas (while great to use), where in your vision gets all Foxtrot Uniform, and then you lag out like crazy, and when you shoot someone in a teargas daze, you get kick/banned by the admin for TKing. Christ almighty, they should have some sort of way to warn about TKing when you're half-blind and under fire.
Whew... that was good to get off my chest. I just couldn't hold it in any longer. Well, I'd better get back to life, or at least my love/hate relationship with this game.
(It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't fun. If the gameplay sucked, I could just throw it out. But, noooooo, DICE made a game that was incredibly fun and addicting, yet on the cusp of unplayability. They found that unholy balance, and it's got me by the balls.:cry: )
