I prefer the G36c but i some times have trouble with night vision on seeing the very top of the sight when zoomed. So i tend to go for the Scar on night maps b/c of the laser dot

The G36c is still the most accurate and better at sniping long distance. However it can be furstratingly weak at times. I like the Scar-L very much as it carries more punch and the small decrease in accuracy is made up for by the red-dot scope at medium distances. Those Spec. Ops who are willing to give up a little accuracy for more firepower will be very pleased.

i like both guns but i have to say the scarl has grown on me...it does take a while to get used to but for close range encounters the scarl is much better than a g36...the scarl imo is more powerful and accurate but still not as accurate as the g36...

atm i seem to use both at different times...both guns seem to pwn and i cant really make my mind up...

You're right Chris - the SCAR-L is better for close encounters. But given the Spec Ops' lack of armor and the long range accuracy of its guns, any close encounters you get into should be accidental and unavoidable - not events that you've planned and equipped for. Other kits are better in close, and it's a waste not to engage enemies from long range with the carbines. And the SCAR-L is pretty poor (comparatively speaking) in the long range dept.

Agreed - that's why my choice for best carbine is the AKS-74U.

Well when playing SF as a Spec Op I tend to find myself using the G36C instead of whatever weapon is available so I guess I prefer the G36C...

I prefer the g36c mainly due to its scope. I prefer it over the red dot. I also seem to get more kills with it than the Scar

totally dislikes G36C. I prefer guns with big power (like PKM), so accuracy doesn't matter for me.
