Well, it happens to be a very sniper-centric map. The day before yesterday I installed SF, played Ghost Town as the first map, and got a sweet 26 kill streak with the sniper. Its friggin amazing, you'd think that when the screen looks like that:

    Shadowborn78-DE [M95] dude1
    Shadowborn78-DE [M95] dude2
    Shadowborn78-DE [M95] dude1
    Shadowborn78-DE [M95] dude4
    Shadowborn78-DE [Claymore] dude2
    Shadowborn78-DE [M95] dude1

people would start taking notice. Well - on public servers they don't *lol*

My only issue with balance is that you can't use unlocked weapons in SF... Only normal BF2.. So why bother having unlocks?

That and tonight I was playing the naval base map, and the mec or who eva the opposing team is had an attack choppa inside the Sub Pen for most the level... I still think the choppas are over powered and not exactly needed. But hey thats me.

Iron Gator is easily the most unbalanced map. I played two rounds (where the teams switches between rounds) on it and the MEC get utterly destroyed. I'm talking 250-0 when the server starts with 300 tickets. :p The only people on the MEC getting any decent points were those in the Hind, they got to kill the US forces on the top of the carrier.

It only takes a tiny amount of teamwork to hold the boat bay, which is basically the only way on. Trying to fly a transport chopper over is just asking to get blown away..

All of the time I have played that map MEC wins.

The issue with this game is that because their are fewer vehicles (less lone wolf) squad tactics are REALLY important and it is easy for 1 good squad to help dominate the map.

I haven't found any map yet that is truly unbalanced. Some teams just use the new tools and tactics better then others.

Warlord is a little unbalanced. I've played on the SAS side where the SAS completely wiped out the entire map in a matter of 5 minutes. The only base that the Insurgents had was the mosque, but the tickets were setup a certain way for the map so that even though the SAS had 90% of the bases, the Insurgents still had a chance of winning. The game ended being a very close one even though the Insurgents still had onebase for the rest of the round.

              It is obvious.
Take a look at the end map stats and you will see SAS or SEAL win every single round.

There IS something definitely wrong here.
And I am not the only noticing it.
I have yet to play as either SAS or SEALS, I only get to play as 'the enemy' as they are always undermanned, so far. Usually the MEC. So far with BF2:SF, I've been on the winning team 80% of the time. I thought the game was biased towards the MEC to be honest.

So it appears everyone is wrong, and everyone is right. Everything depends on the players.

SAS dominate Warlord??? Nah, I played Engineer on the Rebels? team(not sure if its Rebels or Insurgents) and just kept spamming AT mines which kept out their tanks, APCs, and a couple of fully loaded buggies. Anyways, I love Warlord, it reminds me of a simplified Karkand.
