zip line medal, is it really only 10 deployments

I have deployed about 40 zip lines, and no love for the badge....is there something else needed that UBAR doesn't have posted?

what i did was stand on a little ledge and deployed my zip line and zipped down it retrieved it and repetead 10 times

its not a medal and you have to shot that thing 10x IAR

Its probably messed up like the airborne ribbon, which says you need 10 sec of chute time and i was under my chute for about 40 seconds before it gave it to me.

pick it up? are you refering to the grapple, you cant pick up a zip line can you?

i had to do mine 11 times or it felt like 11..

Actually, how can you tell how many times you deployed a hook or zip? Is there a stat somewhere?

Generally it's In A Round, but I've heard of cases where it's been through many rounds and even maps until they got it.

i think its only deploy because i was doing it by shooting and zipline down but on the 10th shot before i slide down i earned it so really dont know if you have to shot it and slide down or just shot it

If you want you can just shoot it into the ground 10 times to get the badge. No challenge, but it works.
