CTD..Restart..Map Loads????

Hey Guys/Girls,

SO I got The SF and everythings good so far I like playing spider man lol. Anyways my problem is that Sometimes/alot I will click on a game and it will appear to goto the loading screen, then it will CTD, Restart Bf and then load into the map. Anyone have any clue one what the issue maybe ??

This is more a pain in the @ss because sometime the map may only have one maybe 2 positions open and by the time i get in It will say full game. Also anyone notice the loading takes 5x longer now ??

same thing here. study what you are doing when you do it. i have found that i will start my game with the sf disk in. i can go directly into any sf map. when i try to go into an original bf2 map it does this apparent ctd then restart and load. then i can load into any original bf2 map. if i switch back to an sf map it does the whole ctd, restart thing again.

it appears to me that it is not a full ctd, simply starting the "other" game.

hope this makes sense to you and helps. it can be a pain int the @$# but i have learned how to deal with that.

i have much worse problems....when some sf maps load (ghost town, surge and mass destruction are the only ones that work for me) they freeze after loading and before weapon/spawn selection screen, locking up the system requiring a full system reset and then this also.... http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43340
