I have seen this as well - on the airport map out in the middle of the runway with nothing around. It was definitely the same guy - but thanks to him I got 8 kills in a row with an ATV - LMAO.

yeah i thought i spotted this but i put it down to a medic who must have been loitering around but a uav moments later had no one near by so i naturally assumed the medic had been killed but now i read everyone elses i do wonder.....

you know, now that i think about it, i have recently noticed some oddness with deaths in this game, namely sf. i will kill someone, the red tag above their name will clearly be gone, and then they get up and come after me again. i haven't noticed if the kill tag was there or not, but death "oddness" has been seen.

i usually play with my chick. what i don't kill/finish off, she does, so i don't really have time to see these things.

yeh i had this!!! karkland i was USMC spawned on the left hand side w/ squad to roll up the left and take suburbs. im medic so im sprinting the quickest get about halfway round the hills and theres a guy at the bottom of the hills... i prone, LA85 makes shorts work of him...like 2 secs later he's up!! tryin to pick me off with his G3!! i swear no1else around and i neva took my eyes off him!!

I think there is a hack that does this. But look at it this way: if you keep killing him, you're racking up kills and points for free!

I've definately had this happen against me. I was on Mashtur City on top of the hills. Our commander was doing a scan in that area and one red dot appeared, I saw a sniper prone shooting down at our troops. I took out my knife and killed him. I saw myself credited with the kill. There was definately no one else around. I turned by back to walk off and the next thing i know he's shot me in the back. This must have happened within 2 seconds of me killing him. I was not at all amused especially as i still had the 15sec re-spawn.

i think he was just a really good sniper, and fired a round into the air artilery style, and then like 10 seconds after he died it came back down and hit you square in the head.

man, what a sniper.

This has happened to me a few times. Ill snipe someone playing support (theyre dropping gun packages) and it says Ive killed so and so, and then 3 seconds later I get sniped by them. I know its a snipe shot because there isnt anything flying by, its one shot, and no one was around them.

I had that on Wake Island once (kinda!). This guy kept spawning right next to me, so I was shooting him. Then he'd spawn on me again, and he'd go down again. Turned out it was the red tag bug, and I'd killed a squad member bloody 5 times! Didn't do much for my score, I can tell you.
