SF unlock requirements

I just wanted to know what are the unlocks requirements in SF

When you first install SF and join can you already unlock some or you have to do some kills or you have to reach the next rank ?

let say I have the G36C, what must I do to earn the SCAR ...

if someone know the requirements for all new guns , plz post them here

You get (i think) as many unlocks as you have earned in bf2. Check the Sf area, I know I saw a post on this there somewhere.
