i got kicked (and banned) from a Ranked clan server for hopping into the admins chopper that had a guy in the gunners seat waiting *reserved* for the admin

o ya *cough* [NBK] *cough* [NBK]Dethrok *cough*


Edit: First time to the server, didnt know that he had it reserved but then a buddy who is friends with him told me that it was HIS chopper

Wow.

So are those of you bitching about server admins new to online gaming? As long as there are servers run by Joe-Gamer, there will be ****ty admins, and there will be good admins.

It really has nothing to do with clans.


As far as not liking clans in general, I agree. It sucks ass to play with people that are organized and actually use teamwork. I would much rather be on a team of random 4sshats that drive off with empty jeeps, don't heal people, don't help capture flags, and just basically ping around the map.

Trust me, I realize that with six of my clanmates join some random server and all end up on the same team, it can be devastating to the opposition. We all join the same squad, (or make two) and yes, we sometimes lock the squad.

The reason for this is simple: If the Squad Leader dies, he has the presence of mind to leave the squad and rejoin so the rest of the squad does not lose the spawn point.

When we play, we also don't give a rats ass about personal stats. We care about the objective, which is to win the round. In the end, it's all about teamwork, and it's teamwork that is hard to get playing with strangers.

If one of us bails out of a helo to take out an APC so the others can cap a flag, we know that the others in the helo will come back and pick us up. The same holds true with anything.


If you are playing against a clan, and they are being assholes, then don't hate them because they're in a clan, hate them because they're assholes.

Next time you're playing against a clan, and their team is kicking the **** out of your time, don't get mad at the teammwork of the clan, get mad and the lack of teamwork on your side of the proverbial ball.

I can't resist. To speak more about the clan mentality, if you're on a team and come up against a clan that actually plays together it's almost impossible to win the round against them.

They will almost always have someone who is an armor whore (myself) backed up by several ground troops and someone who flys like an ace and can drop bombs anywhere on a dime. They will always have a support, medic and spec ops in the squad. If the squad has a full 6 then they will also have another medic, assault and an engineer.

It's just food for thought. The flip side is that I see people complain about vehicle whores or plane/chopper whores. Honestly, they serve a greater purpose and if you have someone on your team that's being the "whore" and owning the enemy left and right, you would not be complaining. Most of the complaints come from peeps who are more mad that they did not get to fly or drive, not that someone else is in the vehicle. I do not condone spam camping (floating around a flag and killing everything that spawns without ANY attemept to take the flag) or un-cap camping so let's not even go there.

To return to the orginal statement posted before, it's not about the numbers, it's about the win. Plain and simple. When you run into an organized group of players who rely on each other and truly use teammwork, your most likely going to lose the round.
