PC reboots - recovered from serious windows error after SF install

OK heres the deal. Im having some major issues after installing SF. I got SF online from EA, downloaded it as instructed and did the same with the install. Ever since I have done that my PC takes forever to load the the first page I try to load on the internet. It also takes forever to load MSN or xfire and once I finishing playing SF and quit out of it, it reboots my machine(sometimes) and comes up with a recovered from a serious windows error message (WTF!!!) Ive done a defrag, checked space - I have plenty, done a virus scan - None. Any ideas anyone? I really dont want to have it running like this and Id like to try and avoid a format if I can, not only would that mean replacing all the crap I have on here already but Id need to download the 1G SF again.

Lay your opinions on me people, its driving me crazy

I know it's well annoying, but it sounds like an uninstall of SF and BF2 is in order. Get it all out of your hard disk and redownload SF and the 1.12 patch. Fresh install of BF2, then SF, then 1.12.

I don't know if that'll sort out the other problems it's caused on your machine though...probably not. I don't remember seeing any other posts similar to this so you might be out of luck...
