Hey I was wondering if your friend had to do anything special to get the ea downloader/expansion pack to work with windows 2000? Im trying to get it to work and having trouble getting the ea downloader to run. I do have the expansion pack files all saved to a folder, but cant seem to get it to install either. BF2 vanilla works fine.

Nope, he just installed it and it worked fine. Don't know about the downloader though, he bought the expansion at a store.
