Crash after 2 days of 1.12 Patch

Hi

Since yesterday ( 2 days after patching to 1.12) i cant run bf2. When i run it shows me the bf2 intro screen, than goes to a black screen and suddendly back to winxp! This is so wierd...
i uninstalled everything and installed agian and it happens. Even after patching again
The most intriguing thing is that i was playing using a secundary tft for display ( sony 8ms TFT ) and minuttes later i changed to the original laptop display, ( ACER LAPTOP 1694 X700 128MB )
I cant find any solution in this forum to this ...please help me out.

I was going to buy BF2 SF today, but after this i am keeping my money ... sorry EA

( dont want to mention the severe lag issues and low FPS i have running this game...compared to other such as hl2 and css) even in low res

After one failed uninstall i went step by step on ea support page and now bf2 starts. It seems to me that the problem was a bug in Acer/ATI gfx drivers. It went bezerk will all the monitor changes.

I've just played and it seems everything is back to normal. Nice 60/70 Fps without any patch or expansion isntalled.
I am going to get SF and see what happens.
