Patch 1.12 Problems

After installing the new patch i have had some problems.

When i go to join a server, i double click it and i crash to the desktop, i have e-mailed EA and they have not gotten back to me yet and i want to play really bad.

Specs:
P4 @ 3.4GHz
1 gb ddr 400 pc 3200 ram
XP pro
160gb 7200rpm's
X600 XT 256mb

This will seem odd, but make sure you have all the most current drivers, and even if you do, you may want to try re-installing them.

Well could it really be the drivers? my Battlefield 2 demo works fine no problmes what so ever, Im running on a Nvidia GeForce 7800 GTX SLI card and I got the latest driver installed witch I believe is 81.95 Forceware, but I guess re-installing it wont hurt.

I started getting that same problem, I wound up reinstalling Windows XP and BF2 and it works now. But I still have this problem with 1.12 where VOIP doesn't work... its driving me nuts!!
