How come no servers allow global unlocks? Anyone know a server the IP adress of one that does? I really would like ot use the guns I have unlocked at least 1x.

Almost all of the servers I play on have unlocks enabled. Try and use the All-Seeing Eye, a "better Game Spy": http://videogames.yahoo.com/multiplayer

Using the All-Seeing Eye you can specify the server search to include only those servers with unlocks.

Allowing global unlocks is different from the normal use of your own unlocked weapons, in fact im not sure why its included as EA have said its not allowed and actually de-listed lots servers for allowing it in during the demo.

If you are reffering to the SF specific unlcoked weapons then you actually ONLY use them in the Original BF2 servers not in Special Foces at all. Weird i know but thats the way it is :)

Global unlocks is an unranked server setting, with no effect on ranked servers. With it on, the server looks at what unlocks your account has and allows you to use them. With it off, no one gets any unlocks.

The issue during the demo was something else.

Oh right, thanks for clearing that up perry :) I stand corrected. I expect after reading the post again that the OP is talking about the weapons you unlock in SF and dosent realsise they are for the Vannila BF2 game. I could be wrong though, twice in one post must be a record

No, you're right. I was talking about the vanilla unlocks. The SF unlocks are indeed not available for SF as stated above.
