Ok, after SF came out, i've heard MANY opinions on the MP7. I've heard it's worse than all the shotties and it's just like a MP5 (which sux). And, i've also heard, it's the biggest upgrade for all the new SF unlocks (biggest upgrade from original, not best upgrade of them all). WHich opinions are true?

Personally, I love it. It has better than expected range if you fire it in short bursts. It's obviously great at short range too. I've been choosing it over the shotguns, and haven't regretted it yet...

It's better than the mp5 and has longer range than the shotties. But of course it looses at close range compared to a boomstick.

It's sort of a more accurate mp5...it's still quite weak, but you can at least aim it better. I think there are better unlocks to be had, personally.

I like the sound and you can actually kill with it, but i dont think its better than the other 4 new unlocks.

I guess it really depends what level it's going to be used on. On Karkand of course the Jackhammer is going to own, but on a map where distances between targets are greater (e.g Dalian Plant) the MP7 would probably be a better choice.

MP7 is a SMG that feels like a SMG. MP5 doesn't have any gut.

personaly i hate the mp5 and i dont have sf yet so i tought the mp7 was gonna be an upgrade copy of the mp5 but when i tried it i was like WOW...the only thing i dont like its the number of bullets...so overall its 9/10

depends on the map. Any close quarters map the jackhammer, DAO or shotty will own, but a map were there is medium or long range combat involved the mp7 is an engy's best friend. at long range at least it is enough to keep an enemies haed down long enough to hide.

Anyway...

It's decent if you have to play engineer and like engaging enemies at range - single shot makes it better at medium-long choice over the shotguns. But nothing beats the pump shotty up close.
