    It would be cool if you had a key that you could use to close your eyes to avoid being blinded from flashbangs.

                Yes, sometimes look directly at sun, your eyes will still start to ache even if you have them closed. Skin isn't very thick to not let sunrays through. Flashbang near is like a sun.

                    It works to an extent that you are not as blinded as had you looked at it. The overpressurization & noise are still a bit disorienting.
