bf2 SF Crashing!

Hey all, if i try to join a server in special forces, it just crashes to desktop, what should i do??

my specs are
3000+ AMD 64
ELSA X800
1GIG Ram

Any help would be appreciated

More info required, for example, at what point does it CTD?

I had this problem i was told by ea to wipe sf and bf2 i did so now then reinstalled the game works now(just! still very buggy) !

Im guessing it loads collisions ext then then join game button appears for a split second and ur dumped back to windows

it CTD as soon as a double click the server i want to join it blacks out

Dont forget to patch em to 1.12 also

I personally found that renaming the "Battlefield 2" folder within My Documents helped solve some issues - it will basically re-create your profile, and wipe any 'junk' settings.

May wish to give that a try?

I have that problem when i join that Mass Destruction map. It gets to about 60% then it just jumps out to windows...also all the servers i try to join chuck me back to the browser becuase it said i have modified content..can any1 help me to get rid of it or..kind of annoying
