The board ASUS (K8V SE Deluxe) seems to support 512-512-1024 I think it’s only concerned about the order when your dealing with single sided and double sided dims.

ie configuration 3 Dims – double – single – single
anyone a Memory tech?

Yeah i run pretty nice now with 1 GB but 2 GB sure sounds nice.

The major advantage I see is that I can actually walk around the map pretty smoothly. Especially when there is an artillery strike, my computer will not choke or spike at all, but instead I can run away very smoothly and can actually watch the whole artillery strike without a single hiccup. So this concludes that it is not my video card that is bottlenecking it, it is the RAM. Also, I can up some of my video qualities and can still run the game pretty smoothly on 1680x1050 too :) Horray!

lmao, not making 6800 ultra doesnt mean they are not on the market. im sure my 4 or 5 year networking related profession doesnt make me a noob at least.

*EDIT* btw, 6800 ultra SLI obviously outperforms one 7800 GTX, if you've seen the benchmark.

Rule of thumb with nVidia lately, is 2x fastest 2nd generation card in SLI will outperform 1x the fastest 1st generation card.

yeah 2 gigs are really worth the money...i got 2.5 gigs right now...before i only had 512 mega...when i started a game it was always taking 3-4 mins. before i could play...it was lagging like hell, but then it was smooth....2.5 gigs = i press join and can kill people as soon as i pressed the button....thats really nice

I run on 512 MB and don't have problems on medium settings. I'm looking to upgrade to 1 GB, possibly 2 GB.
