It is from 0 to 1.
Appears to have worked for me too.

    Thanks

Which is correct. I'm getting really frustrated with the performance. Granted I need more memory but my rig is more then enough to handle it.

          2.4 @ 3.10 GHz
          1Gig Kingston HyperX PC3200 @ 434MHz
          BFG 6800GT OC @ 400/1.10
Western Digital Raptor 10,000 S-ATA hard drive

Everything on high except Terrain and Texture

I'm only using 776MB of memory with the game loaded and playing...

I meant to try the new drivers but I seriously doubt that will help. I'll post back if it does.
Get another gig of ram it will work wonders trust me.

While talking about the VideoDefault.con file, anyone know what "console.Show Stats" does for you if you set it to 1?

Made the other two changes recommended in this thread and will test it out later and see how it does. Sounds like it works well though.

I have tried it... it makes no difference (((

Did it and like before, after an hour or so, it starts happening again...15/66 stutter/slideshow effect/lag whatever. Try playing for more than an hour guys and see if it still plays good?

Didn't work for me either. Started to pack up after a change of map.

i dont think this is a fix. More of a work around/or something to cover the problem up

                          Ill give it a try

Dunno, for me it works. I had stuttering in helos on almost all maps. And i had massive lag/stuttering on Iron Gator.
Now iron gator runs very smooth. No lag, no stutter. And flying helos is smooth too now.
Maybe it only works for the nvidia 81.95 guys..

Nope I have 6800gt and the 81.95 drivers and I'm still getting it. EA better fix this crap patch, release a hotfix, another patch or something this week or at least acknowledge the problem and say they are working on it as quick as they can. Because this problem is ridiculous

I really hope EA isn't just gonna close their eyes cover their ears and whistle like they did for the BF2 security holes before it was hacked...maybe a desperate measure is in order...after all...desperate times call for desperate measures. Seems like the only way you can get their attention fast >.>.
