Will this machine run BF2 on its highier settings?

Well, a while ago my computer erupted in blue screen, and hasn't been working. So I'm working on building a new one, being this the first time I've built one, I was looking for some help. The games I was going to set my sights on to run were BF2 and BF2:SF, since they are pretty demanding on hardware. Here is my list of parts:

Total: $530.98

I wanted this to be able to play BF2 smoothly at some of the higher graphical settings. If there are any substitutions you would recommend, I would gladly except them. I was also trying to keep this below 500 dollars, so keep that in mind. Also I was going to take the hard drive and disc drives out of my old computer (hopefully they still work).
Changed video card to Geforce 6600GT. (With $40 rebate valid through Dec. 7th)

to play on high settings you will need a better video card but you can play on a medium low setting easily, you might want to spend the extra $40 and get the 6600GT 128mb

look for an x800gto or something, not so much mor expensive the the 6600gt and is way better

If your gonna do ALOT of gaming, wait and get a 6800 GT/256mb 349.00 BESTBUY. Also get another 512-1 gig of ram.

On aqua mark 3, the scores were: 5700 ultra 128mb had 25000, the 6600 128mb [150.00] had a score of 29000, the 6800 GT 256mb 45000 and the 6800 ultra 256mb 60000. Numbers speak louder than words. These scores were from MY computers. I returned the 6600 and got the 6800 GT for Sons computer. Daughter gets the 5700 ultra now, up from a 9600se 128mb ATI. Best buy gets 6600 128mb back.

Remember guys, I'm trying to keep it under $500. Hopefully I'll be able to get the 40 dollar rebate on the 6600GT.

hmmmm..................what about power supply? Better have more than 350 watts in your old one.

Hold out for the better video card, it will be worth the wait trust me. Tiger direct HAD a chaintec mobo and AMD 3200 for 99.00.
