sniper damage

Sorry if this has been asked, but for some weird reason, I started getting into the sniper kits, but is it just me, or is the m24 really weak? I remember somebody made a thread showing all the damages of each gun, can somebody please show that to me please? I think i might unlock the new sniper rifle, is it much better in damage and can it shoot through the helo's cockpit?

the M24 is as powerfull as the M95 , but it can't shoot true windows .

but it makes up with extra acuracy so you can make a lot of headshots with it

ya the m24 is the best sniper rifle right now, i only use the m95 when i'm not american. you don't get too many chances to shoot out a pilot in a chopper. although i still try anyway

Eh i hate the m95 so much i dont even use it on PLA and MEC i would rather use the default i get more kills

the m95 and m24 deals the same amount of damage, except m95 is armor piercing so it deals the ful 95. Since ppl wear armor, the m24 only deals like 50. and the m24 is very nice and very accurate...

i have no plroblem with the m24 except its reload time is forever
i get 1shot head kills and from far distances also

M24 rules all, i prefer it over the .50, since one almost never gets to shoot at a pilot, unless you are basecamping.

I just started using the sniper, am I not supposed to base camp? Like on Dalian Plant, sometimes i go to the base nearest the Chinese and camp on top of the building, but I usually camp at their bases. Sorry if your not supposed to do that, I thought it was only wrong if you camped at the enemys bases with a Tank and such.

you can get headshots from far distances if the enemy is still or moving? I usually only shoot if their standing still, its really hard for me to shoot a moving target and get a head shot, still havent got the hang of it. Do you guys only go for head shots or what? I do because i think it would take a while to keep shooting at a moving target, and they will probably get away, or maybe i just really suck :)

i only go for head shot
guess thats from my halo playing but yea head always = more damage so i automaticly aim for the head

i can snipe a still target from great distances and i even try for moving ones sometimes i get them but usually i get a kill assist point if they run off and cant get the second shot in

Depends what server you play on, i myself find sniping into bases acceptable, as long as you are not in the actual base, same goes for vehicles, give people a chance to spawn..

Maybe you're just missing. The m24 does 95 damage and is the most accurate gun in the game. The m95 does the same amount of damage,though it does penetrate airplane and chopper glass, but it is less accurate than the m24. The SVD/Type 88 are actually the least powerful and least accurate of the snipers, doing 45 damage, but they are equipped with a semi auto mode, making them fire much faster.

I shoot anything I know I can hit, regardless of whether or not its a head shot. I at least get a damage kill assist.

I like the m95 only because it seems like it loads faster after each shot.

I go for as many head shots as possible, and I do get quite a few of them, but for the most part, if its a moving target, I try to only shoot them if theyre moving slowly horizontally to me, and if theyre running vertically to me, then Ill take a few shots, and usually can get a kill. Its easier if theyre running to/from you, because then you can either just aim a lil lower, or a lil higher.

If you get in a squad with a bunch of other snipers, stick together, and you guys can kill anyone, moving or not, just make sure to call out your shots first, so at least one other person will hone in on him, and take a shot, to either help you get a kill assist, or vice versa.
