Any reason why all the damn EA servers are only playing Karkland now?

Any word from EA on this? (Yeah right, I know)

Strike at Karkand...for some reason all EA US Official servers run only this map. I like the map but it does get old without the maps rotating at all...

Urban map
Mass death = mass points
No air cheese
Don't need to walk far to kill someone
You know where your enemy is 99% of the time

actually when I play on EA servers, it seems to be the only server that has low pings, usually everyone is lower than 70.

I noticed this too, its so hard to find a server with a map you want to play, and best of all...when you join, since it takes forever to load, verify, and such, usually it spawns you just as the map ends and changes levels, so more loading, or, you spawn on the team with 20 tickets left and the other team has 199...wee funness!...lol

I've never experienced lag on any east coast EA servers. And very little on the few times I've played on west coast or EA UK servers. But I can easily attribute that to the location. Maybe your ISP just uses a crappy route to their IP range.

Never said it wasn't a good map, just miss the rotation. And despite what was said earlier, I usually experience less lag and lower pings on EA servers plus the stats update nearly instantaneously. What struck me as odd is that only the EA US servers are stuck on Karkand, the other ones (like UK) still rotate. Anyway, Karkand is fun but after an hour or two, it'd be nice to get a change up and at least have some official US servers that play other maps or rotate...

Did you mean Kirkland?

Well......

First you take the I-405, then take Exit 18 and follow the Kirkland signs. Go down hill on 85th headed West toward Lake Washington. And there you are at Kirkland.

Just kidding. :p

Ya, I noticed the servers were all playing Strike at Karkand. Now, I have to go buy that BF2:SF. Just so I can go play with my buds.

I think it's a conspiracy to make you buy BF2:SF.
