Medic Woes

Ok,

wtf is going on with medic, anyone else having to use paddles 2-3 times to revive anyone or is it just me not being in the know? All help appreciated as this is gettin on my nerves.:evil:

it more a glitch in game I think, sometimes you can revice some guy standing up a meter away from him with one shock.

other ones you need to chock and chock and chock then they revive.

also, I had it sometimes when I got shot, I was wounded, medic comes try's several times, goes away, other medic comes, also try several times nothing goes.

you do have to aim with those things for the chest

Im a diehard medic and never have a problem,like the previous poster said,aim for the chest.

I usually get it with one shot, and i practically neve use the medic class..

Only when a medic gets shot near me, i tend to take his kit ad revive him.. somehow i find that funny :p

Uhm, sometimes you are 'killed', I guess when that happens you are not 'reviveable', at least that would make sense.

You still are only for 2 seconds. The medic glitch also happens to me as well.

Yah, this happens to me...

I just try to aim for the chest and usually I'll get it on the first try, occasionally on the second, third, or not at all... Then I have to apologize and the stupid guy who thinks I wasn't trying starts flaming me and making a fool of himself.

I tend to prone, line the chest up and hit, still nothing ...... thanks anyway guess it's one of those practice practice things.

I find that STANDING over people to revive them is much more reliable

For best results, go prone, look straight down, aim at the chest, and shock him. I dont think crouching works as well, and I dont think standing works at all.

My PERSONAL experience is that its best to go prone and shock from a distance and not directly on top of them. Its probably just me but if im too close it never seems to work first time but if my paddles are about a foot away (estimated) from the body and not physically touching him it works first time every time.

weird i know but that works for me and i play medic as my favourite class, as i said its my own experience with the paddles anyway.

I have experienced the medic glitch many times. Its annoying but there is an element of practice and skill involved. I have gotten alot better at it. Unfortunately sometimes it just doesnt work, and then you endanger yourself with hanging around and trying more than once. I have died countless times from this.

Ive had to on occassion, but I think its mostly dependant on what the spawn timer says on the guy youre trying to revive.

Anyone know whether or not the paddle kills is new to SF, or if you could do it all the time? I just recently noticed guys getting killed to paddles, and even I fell victim to it on more than 1 occassion.

Usually you see a guy with paddles running your way, your first instinct is to say "no I need to be healed not revived" before noticing there isnt a blue name, or dot on your radar.

This has happened to me 2. Im always med and sometimes i havent benn able 2 revive either, i think it is just another glitch.

I believe it also has to do with the angle you're trying to use the defibrillator from. For example, if your target is on a steep slope, I would go above him vertically, crouch, and aim his tag from there. So I'd suggest you try different angles. And then it's only practice. I hope I've got some from my 1,216 revives.
