We had all of our flags taken two times that round and the first time I was able to spawn on one of our squad leaders while we had all our flags gone.

The reason the rumer that you can't spawn on a sl when all flags are taken is because maybe they are in a vehicle.

I play with squads alot (probably not as much as some... but meh)

You must be mistaken and there actually was a CP left when you spawned because I've been a squad member without any CPs more times than I can count. This is why when your squad is unlocked, your SL, and your alive but everyone is dead you get a whole bunch of tards come into your squad and demand you exit the vehicle so the team can spawn, when in fact there is no vehicle. They simply can't spawn because the game doesn't allow it.

End of story, you can't spawn when all CP's are capped.

Locked squad's aren't a crime - they are part of the game. Deal with it.

I bet this is what he is refering to...although with only 1 ticket left, even if he unlocked the squad, and people started spawning on him, they still couldn't win the game, unless you could capture all CP's with out anyone dying once.

Without owning at least one flag they couldn't spawn on him anyway. You can't spawn on squad leaders if you don't own any flags. How many times does it have to be said?

maybe it's SF, but in vanilla bf2, NO, YOU CANNOT. end of discussion. unless u got a spawn-on-SL-with-no-flags-left hack. that'd be a diff story.

as i said, IF ur statement was true, imagine that. when there's only one guy left, have you seen the whole team respawn again? cuz according to what you've said, we can simply do this:

5 teammates join the squad of the last guy's. so they can respawn, right? then after they respawned, one of them leave the squad, and creates a new squad, so again, another 5 teammates who are dead can respawn on this person, right? i believe you agree with me so far. then the result is ridiculously impossible, apparently, in BF2. the whole team will be able to respawn even if they dont have a single flag.

If your team does not own any flags, you can't spawn anywhere - including on a living SL.

How are two man squads with clan mates stupid? They can spawn off each other. They prolly have TS or Vent. And the fact that half the time they are better than anyone should give them the right to. But they do have the right to. I run 2-3 man squads with clanmates all the time. Beats having some noobs with you who don't leave the squad to make a new spawn point. But whatever. P.s. what I just typed prolly makes no sense and I don't care.

I'll sometimes play with a buddy or two and lock our squad simply because we are busy practicing our 2 or 3 man tactics. Random walk ons can cause issues with that, especially if we are doing something vehicle spesific. If we're manning a bomber or attack chopper, there's no point in allowing others into our squad since they aren't going to benifit from it anyway.

And yea, as pointed out, you can't spawn on a SL if you don't control at least one flag.

I don't see this as a big deal as long as not all the squad slots are taken.

Thers a huuuuuuge differance between playing with bots and playing with people. Practice against bots only teaches you bad habbits.

I've never seen a complaint in-game, or else I'd unlock the squad.

This is the first time I've seen this kivetched about.
