You have to unlock the new weapons first

the gadgets cannot be used in normal BF2

btw, the next person that says vanilla bf2... I'll smear chocolate all over your face

Think people use the term vanilla because thats what dice has refered to it as in interviews etc.

Things are called vanilla [insert game] because vanilla is plain. It means the plain version of [insert game] without any mods, expansions, etc.
