Driver 81.95 fps drop to 10

Depending on where I look, sometimes my FPS will go from a poor in the first place 35 to a horrid 10. I am using the 81.95 drivers. Any help!? This NEVER happened in BF2 Vanilla at all Highest settings (same as SF). I think it's the new patch, though I haven't tried vanilla BF2 with the new patch.

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ @ 2.30GHz (AMD Athlon 64 3700+)
1.50 GB Crucial PC3200
GeForce 6800 GT OC @ 400/1100

I've used beta drives (which ones I do forget) to the current 81.95.

While there is an improvement I think DICE have made modifications to the engine which they didn't get a proper time to finish EA has told them to duct tape over the errors and will rush a patch out soon. :/

It wouldn't be the first time they have done it to a game (and I'm not just talking about BF2 either!)

Did you update your drivers to 81.95 before or after installing BF2:SF and the v1.12 patch?

Some people have been reporting problems with the 81.95 drivers..I'd recommend rolling back a version or two and using Driver Cleaner Pro to wipe all traces of the drivers between installs.

I think 81.94 works for many. You might try that. I'm about to try 81.95 myself.
