    Testing Fps

I am sure this info is out there but I am really fried right now and just don't want to search for it any harded then I did....(search the forum for TESTING FPS) so Just quick question......

Does anyone know how to test the fps in the console screen ? And if so please explain cause I have tried the renderer tab twice .....drawfps ....and I get a 0 and then nothing. So where exactly does it tell you the fps and please if someone could be so kind to tell me a exact procedure to accomplish my task. I would be extremely greatfull and give this said person a basket full of HIV! Thanks
