Weird problem - help

hello guys, after I installed the 1.12 patch, i have had a problem with the blur after an explosion goes off by your head. when a tank fires its shell and you're standing next to it, or a grenade goes off by you, your meant to have a blur, and you hear a whistling sound.

this doesn't happen anymore, my game goes... wrong, then when the blur has gone, everything is back to normal.

thats what happens in the screenshot above, I just installed the latest catalyst drivers for ati, but it still goes wrong.

any ideas whats going on?

I have exactly the same problem and I haven't solved it yet. If somebody has answer ASAP, please.
