Level 2 Weapons?? how to select them?

I have unlocked a few level 2 new weapons in BF2 SF....but i can't select them ...how do you do it?

You can't use them in SF, only in vanilla BF2.

I´m confused

When i started BF2 i got 4 unlocks for the new weapons, but i can´t choose them in game. Only the standard unlocks show up at the spawn screen (G3, G36C etc.....)

?????

In BF2, to use your new weapons from BF2SF, you need to click the arrow in the top right corner of each weapon.

Example.

For assualt, the default should be the M16 for USMC. Then if you click the arrow, it should change to the G3 and if you click again it should change to the F2000.

Okay Read This:

In BF2:SF there are 5 NEW weapons used by various armies IN THE SPECIAL FORCES GAME that are ALSO unlocks for BF2 there are:

F2000 (assault), MP7 (engineer), G36E (medic), Scar (assault / spec-ops), new support gun (don't know name).

These are known as Tier 2 weapons (or unlocks)

Certain armies (SAS and US) get to use these NEW weapons as their DEFAULT weapons on certain maps. This means that, for example if you are SAS playing Ghost Town you can select the F2000 as your gun, regardless if you unlocked it.

Now in BF2:SF you can also ALWAYS choose your Tier 1 unlocks from BF2:vanilla.

So in the previous example you could choose either the F2000 (default) or the G3 (assault unlock from BF2:vanilla)

Now, you can unlock the F2000 but that is ONLY for BF2. Ie: you can only use the F2000 in SF when the army you are fighting with uses it. For example on Ghost town if you are Mec you CAN'T use the F2000 even if you unlocked it. You can use the AK-101 with GL or the G3 (if you unlocked it).

So basically, you can use Tier 2 weapons as default in BF2:SF if they are specific to the army you are fighting for. If you unlock these same Tier 2 weapons you can use them in BF2:vanilla whenever you want without restriction.

So unless you want to use an unlock in BF2:vanilla there is no point in unlocking it, since you can use it "for free" in BF2:SF

I think he hasn't noticed that some classes now have 3 slots. Clicking the little arrows now is done TWICE on some classes...

Think 3 rows of teeth instead of 2 rows for BF2.
