Did the points for ranks change?

I have 11000 points or so and on the in game stats page it says I'm 27% on my way to being promoted, how can that be if 1st Sgt (I have all the basic badges) happens at 20,000 points?

to be first sergeant you gotta have all the basic badges, if you don't by the time you reach it, you miss out on it, though that rank doesn't give any unlocks whatsoever

You only need the combat bages, not the vehicle ones or non combat ones.

omg.... first sergeant dsnt give you an unlock. Where the hell is the logic in that?? Why did EA do this? I earned all of my badges cause I thought that little diamond thing would look cool, but I counted on having another unlock. damnnn

So how many points do you need to get 1st Sgt/Master Sgt? Is it still 20k and if so why does every place say that with over 10k points I'm only 27% on the way there?

Ist Sgt. does give you an unlock. I got my choice and chose the Barrett.

Man I hope you're right.



And s | k, 1st sgt requires 20k points but master sgt requires 50k. I don't know why that site skipped 1st sgt, but it looks about right.

50k is sergeant major not master sergeant.... master sergeant and first sergeant are the same. u get an unlock no matter which one of the two u get...
