    Shotgun question.

What does the alt fire mode on the shotty do?
I see it has a small zoom effect, is that shooting from the shoulder (more accurate) and the default mode is from the hip?

the alt fire is useless, why would you need to zoom if the gun can only hit things that are right in front of it?

The secondary fire just makes less recoil. It is not any more accurate or powerful than the normal mode. It doesn't really have a use if you are firing a pump shotgun, but it is sometimes helpful if you're firing a semi or full auto shotgun. It is usually used if the target doesn't see you or if he is on the edge of your shotguns range and you dont want every shot you take after the first shot to go 30 meters over his head.

It is pretty much useless. But i think they should accually use the ghost ring sights they have on the gun. there there for a reason, shotguns have a tight pattern out to about 20-30 yards with buckshot and you need proper sights you use them. anyone here seen Heat, they have some of the most realistic use of guns you can find in a movie.
