I see so many people using it, and get constantly killed by it
But when I use it, I find myself not doing so well.
What do you guys think of this weapon?

Im loving the g36e and the f2000 though.

i piked up the scar.. its preety good... (dont gots sf ) i just kept zoomin in everytime i shot, n bamm! headshot bam headshot...

Yea lol its like that when you play with a weapon very little.
When you play with it a lot you see its negatives come out

Very good rifle and sounds pretty good too,I like the feel and aim of it.

Isn't all weapons inkl nades a bit quiet? It's like someone throws a nade behind the corner and usually its like: kaboom!...... Shouldn't not have been more like: KABAAAOOOOUUUMM!! (if you get what I mean...)

I hate the red dot sight. But its very good for full auto on the move. Every bullet hits the target.

SCAR-L is good for close range combat, but for medium to long go with the other guns. I find that a little weird given how armorless the Spec Ops kit is, but whatever. Don't use it if you like single shot sniping with the carbines. It'll just **** you off.

Its medium range. Its the long range that isnt so great so. look at its stats in that other post about the unlocks. Its more accurate then the m-16 and the m-16 is great 1 shot burst at medium range (from what i have done with it at least). The Scar-L is also more accurate then all the medic rifles as far as i can remember. Its a great weapon but it does not surpass the accuracy of the g36c. Scar-L > g36c close range, Scar-L =G36c medium range (g36c is a little more accurate here though), Scar-L < G36c long range. I havent used it much (was playing sf at friends house, i dont have it yet ) so this is what i have noticed so far.

F2000 is one of the best unlocks for vanilla bf2, better than the g3 dont u think?

Well, it depends on the map obviously. If the F2000 is avaliable I am gonna take that since it has the GL which I think is way too powerfull to just give up.

But, on SF maps where the F2000 isn't avaliable I will take the SCAR for close/medium/long range combat, like devil's perch. But for maps like Iron Gator where is it all close quarters I am going with the G3, since close up it owns.

I think the key to the guns is not having one you use all the time, but choosing the weapon that fits the conditions you are going to face

The F2000 i agree is the best new weapon because its upgrade from the other assualt weapons. Accurate and with a nade launcher makes it a good choice. Plus flash bangs are great little toys.

the f2000 and scarl are by far the best sf unlocks...

when i first unlocked the g36 it took a bit of time to get used to shooting that and leading people but im getting the hang on these two guns i have to say i am killing so many dam people every round that it borders on taking the ****

I personally don't like the F2000 as much as others. THe flashbang is prob the best part, as it does less damage than the AKs and still has a nooblauncher. I lways use flashbangs when trying to cap flags on karkand. Plus, the scope on the F2000 isn't too good, it doesn't even have a full crosshair (the lines don't intersect in the middle, it's harder to aim). But the F2000 is still a worthey upgrade for assault. The SCAR-L, i havn't used it much, but seems pretty good, i'll come back later with a full review.

I hate the scar-l.

maybe its just the way i play, or it is the gun itself, but i do so badly with it i dont play spec ops on the seals team.

both the scar weapons i think have bad accuracy, i prefer the g36e anyday over scar-l, but i think scar-h > g36e.
