1.12 unlock system?

whats the new unlock system, whats this thing about 2 unlocks per class.... if thats true, and i only have 2 promos left then how can i unlock all the 3rd unlocks? and what class has flashbangs?

There are no new unlocks with the 1.12 patch. the unlocks are for SF players.

The most powerful kit now is the Assault class in SF. It has F2000, which comes with a damn cool scope. It is also fitted with a grenade launcher, and also a flashbang.

You apparently need to run SF to unlock the new guns but once unlocked you can use them in regular BF2. (Or you can probably mod the game to use them in SP without having SF.)

I'm sure it can be done, we just need someone to post a solution. After all, you can pick up the kit if you kill a player that has one, so starting off with it shouldn't be impossible.

I had one regular unlock left before I played SF. When returning to BFHQ I was able to unlock the G3 (I had 15000 points left for that) as well as 3 SF weapons.

I'm sure it can be done, we just need someone to post a solution. After all, you can pick up the kit if you kill a player that has one, so starting off with it shouldn't be impossible.

The workaround has been stated a few times here and at PBF: find someone else who has SF and login with your account on their machine to to unlock the SF weapon. Then you can use the SF weapon online even from your own computer. From Wasp's post it sounds like you can unlock both the standard unlock and the SF unlock for the same kit and don't even need unused unlock slots but can unlock the SF versions of the kits you've already unlocked.

If you log in on a computer with SF you will be able to use the SF guns in BF2 alternatly if you get a CD key you can aquire it from other sources.
