I had to uninstall 81.95 drivers due to heavy screenlag, and stuttering.

I then installed version 81.89 the NGO Optimized Beta Drivers which seem to work very well. No more performance issues so far.
It was also necessary to delete BF2's cache folder, and re-optimize all shaders. See if this works for you.

im doing good except when i get in the air then i notice alot of lag in the new exp.pack,so i dont know if its the patch or the drivers,ill try and switch back to the old drivers and see ifs its the drivers or the patch

well, my fps dropped by 30 on night maps (yeah that sucks) so i had to lower some things down, and i only get 30fps on a 7800gtx!!!

I rolled back from 81.95 to 81.94 and noticed no improvements. Staying with 81.94 for the moment though...I may roll back another version or so if I feel like waiting for all that optimization

Hmm.. I haven't updated with the new 1.12 patch yet... this has me kinda worried, as I currently have everything running perfectly with the 1.03 patch... :hmm:

install the 77.72 drivers alot of us have went back to these and it will double your performance in SF

Wilkystyle if you have SF, you're actually on the 1.1 patch since that's what SF ships with and autoinstalls

I still get 20-25 FPS, just like normal. The weird 'sticky' controls bug rears it's head more often than before in single player, though. Where you're doing something and then your controls stop responding, you keep running/looking in the same direction for a second and then suddenly you're free again...

i was using 78.05. Was getting 50-70fps, but would get insane amount of sutter (like 1fps for 30 seconds) with SF every couple of minutes.

81.95 gives me smooth gameplay, but at 25-30fps.

I'm guessing its just Nvidia users? I have an x800xl and have not experienced any performance loss whatsoever.

ATI users are experancing the same problem as well.
