did anyones FPS drop?

Iam using 81.95 drivers and in SF iam getting like 20-35 fps most of the time, the average armount is about 25 fps and I gets harder to play at that point, my specs are in sig, Iam using high video settings, did anyone have to lower there settings to medium for the new expansion?

FPS did drop for me unfortunatly. Load time went up as well.

mostly FPS for me, its hard enough to play with the nightvision, now its even harder with 20 or 25 FPS most of the time:cry:

Another Bug (or poor programming). Hopefully Dice will addess it soon. I don't care myself, because SF doesnt do anything for me (wasted $29 of my own on it)

yea, the battlefield series is starting to get old, special forces isent to bad though, its not great, me and my other buddys are still trying to find a new game thats still FPS but not in the bf series

i heard a lot of ppl say the 81.95 driver causes the fps drop

Well I run the game in the middle but I seen BF2 on low but I forget to change the Video settings when I got SF and it look good on low

My framerate and overall playability has dropped by 10-20 fps in both BF2 and BF2SF since the patch.

FEAR is VERY entertaining. I've heard nothing but good about CoD2 as well; I'm going to pick that up soon and see so myself.

Some say 81.95 drivers fix their fps issue others say it makes it worse....what is it?

And yes...this issue need to be resolved quickly........I cannot play night maps at all!

yea the night maps are the worse for me to, even on a athlon 64, with 2 gigs of ddr ram and a 6800 gt 256meg card, jeese! I think Iam gonna try medium settings

I'm using the same drivers I had previously which have worked great(ATI 5.10), yes there is a noticeable loss of fps.

BF2: SF is more taxing on our systems for sure. I expect a quick patch to address this otherwise I'll wind up playing BF2 extra unlocks instead.

I cant even play SF, because i have 5 FPS, and i have X800pro. Hope that AT will release good driver and will fix that (if that is driver problem)
