Video HELP Please, Very simple question

How do I clear the cash ?

I want to re-optimise my graphics.

Also, I have an athlonXP 3000+ with 2x512ram and a 6600GT

Yet my game LAGS LIKE HELL even on medium Graphs

besides that I run the latest Nvidia drivers from their site...

Has anyone taken the time to benchmark different drivers and found better results with one of the third party drivers ?

Biggest performance increase I've seen:

• Delete the cache (\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache)
• Defrag the drive with the cache
• Start BF2 and go into a single player game. Let it Optimize Shaders.
• Quit BF2 after it's done, and start it up again.
• Instant performance boost.

Also, upgrading to 1.5gb made a huge difference for me.

Ditto on the perf gain on going from 1 to 1.5 Gig,...it was night and day.
