Patch 1.12 error => no more startup ...

Tried to install the patch, got en error. After clicking OK got the 'patch succesfull' screen. Tried to start BF2 => start-screen => back to desktop ... Now what ?

I hate EA and their lousy patches !

OT : downloaded the patch from a different location and seemed to work.

try disabling any personal firewall and/or antivirus before patching and try again ... worked for me on two diffrent systems

I'm Downloading the stupid patch atm....i got 2MB broadband, but its only downloading at 12.7KB/sec WTF

and yes i am downloading it from largedownloads.ea.com

oh and 186MB of 280MB downloaded and still 2hrs 12mins till completion.
