i was the commander of MEC the whole time and was VEEEEEEEEEEERY far from where the action is and yet, my FPS NEVER changed from 15/66 throughout the entire round!

That map has major problems -- either its because everyone is too close together or there is a memory leak.
I won't play that map until they fix that -- if it wasn't so laggy it would be nice. -

I've had no problems with Iron Gator...but I STILL think there is a bug...I just don't think it affects everyone.Comment

I get the 15/66 bug on EVERY map, but only after like an hour or two. Maybe it's another memory leak because of the patch itself?
I sent in a support ticket to EA and look at the dumb response they sent >.>

Thank you for contacting EA technical support. I am sorry that you are having difficulty.
I apologise for the issues you are experiencing with the 1.12 patch. First you will need to ensure that you have downloaded the newest patch for Battlefield 2: Special Forces.
Once you have the file, verify that you have downloaded the file completely, it should be around 280MB.
If you have patched you will want to make sure that you are running the correct version. The version number is located in the lower left corner of the login screen. This should currently read 1.1.2554.356.0.
If you can not install the patch or your version is incorrect and you have installed the latest patch there may be a corruption in the game files. Please uninstall Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2: Special Forces. If you have any issues uninstalling please follow the steps found in the following FAQ: http://support.ea.com/cgi-bin/ea.cfg...?p_faqid=11150
After you have re-installed Battlefield 2 immediately install Battlefield 2: Special Forces. Once Special Forces is installed, install the 1.12 patch found above. This is an incremental patch, you will not need install any of the original Battlefield 2 patches.
Uninstalling Battlefield 2 will not affect your online stats. These stats are kept on our server.

I have done all of those steps as well as many other users too, but to no avail. This is a problem with your patch and the error isn't on our part. Even people with very high-end systems are getting this annoying bug. PLEASE fix this ASAP, because this bug is proving to be very annoying for thousands of users including myself.Comment
