BF2 stays running in background

ok started noticing my pc was kinda slow.....noticed that bf2 was still running in back ground after i exited game. i did not alt tab out, i exited....to get it to stop i have to cntrl, alt, del, the application.

I think ive only experienced this once. I just ended the process in task manager.

I have more of a problem starting the game though, sometimes when I launch the game it brings up the BF2 load screen then it disappears and im still at my desktop but if I look in the tast manager the game is running. So I have to end the process and try to relaunch it, sometimes it does the same thing brings up the load screen and goes back to desktop other times it lets me play. I have no idea why it does it randomly.

I have it very often when I exit the game. The wierd thing is that I can still hear the menu music!!!!

BF2 is one buggy game...

yea i have this sometimes also but not often.

I had the same on my ols system and I have the same on my new system, the music still running for like 15 sec, not always but many times.

It's jsut because the prog code sucks and the swap file get delayed in some way

yep i had this prob, but only when im using teamspeak overlay.

ME TOO i use TSO, maybe thats why

found i dont get this when NOT using TSO
