Wrong tagging bug got wurse since patch

After installing patch 1.12 , I get the wrong tagging bug much more frequen then before, talked to other guys and they have the same thing, on some servers 1/3 of my team was walking around red tagged !!

This is a bug that has been in the game since the Demo, now four patches further it's stlill in the dam game, it even became wurse with the new patch.

anyone else here seeing more of this wrong tagging then before ?

I used to have this bug all the time. Seems to have gone in the past few days since 1.12 and BF2SF install. I have not had this happen once. You have BF2SF? Or do you just have the newest patch installed.

However I have been playing Special Forces mostly. Only played a couple matches of normal BF2.

wahhh... green, red, blue... that's pretty!!! lol...

anyways, yeah that's DICE. every patch they release fixes one bug then makes 5 new bugs, so it's no big deal that the old bugs didnt get fixed.

I think the tagging bug got worse when flying jets too. I barely had this bug before last patch but since I installed v1.12 I frequently get friendlies indetified as enemies while I'm in a plane.

It's pretty annoying especially when you try to support your ground troops with a precise bombing-run to help 'em to get rid off that freakin' "enemy" tank just to get a tk after that.

But on the ground it's still pretty rare for me. Stupid thing...

I noticed the air to ground missiles from the bomber's co-pilot changed somehow. They highlight friendlies and enemies in the same manner. You have to wait until you see the tags before releasing the rocket or you're going to get massive amounts of TKs.
