I am happy to know that the mayority of those voters are smart, paying $30 for an expansion that gives you maps/weapons/skins is a clear scam, thats the update EA owed us, I smell that in the future versions of Battlefield series will have to be pay 2 play online gaming with their horrible service.
Most likly except i'm not going to pay for ****, i just won't play, also i don't think that will happen due to the big mod community which you will be able to play for free on.
The majority of folks have bought or intend to buy it, but 1/3 of the BF2 playerbase (on TotalBF2) not purchasing it is pretty substantial.
Those 36 people have denied EA/DICE about $1,080. Not small beans, proportionally, since the total profit possible from all 83 respondents would have been $2,490.
I'd like to see a similar vote from the other BF2 forums, just for kicks. Obviously there are thousands of players who never visit a forum, so we can never really tell the depth of the impact, if any.
