Server lag, high pings..

Seem to be having major server lag, every ping i can find under 100 jumps to 500 when i click on it. Games are unplayable is it just me or what?

It's not your fault, it happens to everyone. BF2 is extremely laggy.

Just noticed i'm downloading at 10kbs instead of 250kbs.... Wierd thing is my internet says connected at usual speed and cant see any programs or anything running...

It's probably a program running on your system that is conflicting with the new patch.

When version 1.01 came out, my McAfee was conflicting with it so bad, I couldn't play a game under 250 ping and 5 fps. Of course, it took me a month to figure out the solution: uninstall McAfee. Problem solved.

So, just browse around your "processes" and try stopping some of the bigger/more complex programs and see if that boosts ping times.

Do a bandwidth test and see if it what it should be, just type bandwidth test into google.
I seem to be having alot of lag ever since i installed the new patch even though i have a ping of about 18.
