Graphics nightmare!!!!!

Hi all,

I'm biteing my nails at the moment as BF2 SF is out tomorrow and I've just seen something rather scary on file cloud!!!

When I was looking at the new system requirements I noticed that the game only supports the nividia Gefore 6600 series in PCI format! I have the card but in older format.

Do you know if it will still work?

Wrong forum. but 6600 AGP should be fine.

I have a 6600 in PCI format, so I think i'll br ok, but i'm getting a new comp soo :p

It's PCI-Express [PCI-E] - PCI is ancient.

But, anyway the official BF2:SF site says minimum requirements are
"DirectX 9.0c Compatible (128MB GeForce FX 5700 or Radeon 8500 chipset)"
I am using a 6800GT AGP, maxed out except 2x AA and all is quite well!
You'll be fine.

boo Ati Radeon X600 XL BARELY works on my comp....anyone else have problems with this?..and yes i know this is the wrong forum but oh well ^^

a 6600 gt will run on high settings

no it wont run on high settings. i had one b4 i got my new comp. and i had to run on medium with some low and maybe 1 high.
2 gigs of ram and at least a 5800gt are required for all high and highest resolution.
i have 2 gigs and a 7800gt .(getting a second in soon vie SLI :) )
