1.1 from SF won't install?

Me again. Sorry to ask for help again but I uninstalled BF2, SF wouldn't uninstall (5001 error?). Anyways, reinstalled BF2, rebooted. Got to the downloader to install stage and it says it is going to update Bf2 to v. 1.1. this thing then runs for like an hour on "Patching, please wait..." for like an endless amount of time.

Anyone had this?

Nope, but I had other problems. If you get rid of any evidence that BF2 and BF2sf existed and then:
1. install bf2
2.patch bf2
3.install sf
4.patch sf

you should be gold
