Installation problem

Disc 1 goes by fairly quickly and the patching goes well. When I've inserted the 2nd disk it all just stops and the "Installation Wizard" window pops up but it's WHITE, as if it isn't done loading yet... remains so after a good 15 minutes too!!

I got up to GHOST TOWN/client.zip before it stopped.

How do I get through the installation? (first time I cant install a game btw)


(bought the japanese verion so I cant check the manual)

Close the installer and just try again. I had several hang ups with BF2. Just end task it.. start from the begining.. Give it time as well, watch it in task manager if you get suspicious, if you see it stop responding.. just try it again.. sometimes they get quirky.


P.S

Don't bother with the manual.. its an EA manual.. so basically all its going to do is tell you to buy some more of their AWESOME software.. I've never seen an EA manual that was anyway helpful. The best way to get help is to do what you're doing now.

Ok, it's installed now.:p

I had to reinstall bf2 and then apply 1.3 after which I installed bf2sf. I also cleared out my temp and restarted a couple of times between all this.

And I who thought it would be logical... (isn't for me)

first time this happened... if I remember my NFS MW Black Edition installation went as expected
