i hate how i havent bought the SF expansion but people who have can use the new weapons. i just hate being flashbanged and i have to go out of my way to pick up a pack to get it. its just a bummer for now!

Meh. I'm tempted to feel the same way, but common sense tells me that if I wanna play with the new toys, I should shell out the bucks.

If I felt strongly about SF toys un-balancing standard BF2, I would just go play mods.

actually, i agree with you here. Its another nice marketing technique by EA,

Special forces player: "Hey do you like my new gun? its miles better than yours"
BF2 player: "Yeah, its pretty good, shame i cant get it"
Special forces player owns bf2 player
Message from EA "If you want to have the same advantage, then buy special forces now!"

They should have just made SF mutliplay seperate from BF2

those flashbangs are very effective it blinds me for a long time and it takes forever for the white to go down

Did you try the last few addons for BF42? In short they never got played. Letting people use the unlocks in normal BF2 adds a bit of worth to the pack.

You're in denial if you think the unlocks are not unfair.

The guns, are fine. I have no problem with people using the SF guns.


The flashbangs and teargas, on the other hand, **** me the **** off.

Example: Me and my squad (6 total) were going for the airstrip in Wake. We all jog from the far south flag to the airstrip, get right near the bunker by the artillery when, oh no, a ****ing noob flashbang. We are all blinded and just sit there like fish in a barrell while a sniper, spec op, and Assault from the other team come over the hill and take us out with ease. I was blinded so bad I got Knifed of all things.
