bf2: SF and BF2 vanilla issues...

so i downloaded BF2: SF and then downloaded the new 1.12 patch. I can play in BF2: SF servers, but when I try to log into BF2 vanilla, it won't let me log into those servers because it says i have a "newer version." so my question is, how do i play in the older servers with my homies that don't have the BF2: SF expansion? is this possible? please help!!! thanks

only search one same version only, I think many servers are still running without new patch

tried that...tried with the filters checked and without. both was a no-go. if i search without filters...all of the servers come up in red and will not let me in. i thought it was odd that whether i click on the BF2: SF desktop icon or the regular BF2 desktop icon, they both will not allow me to log into the old pre-BF2: SF servers??? thanks for the info though.

Hey bud why don't we all just call the original Battlefield 2, BF2. And we'll call the new one BF2:SF. So much vanilla this and that. Enough with the vanilla word already.

Anyway it seems that your old favorite servers aren't updated yet. Once they do, you'll get right in there.

One of my favorite servers that I play in hasn't updated yet neither. I believe we're having the same issue here. Just wait a few.
