    Confrontations with the Enemy

I have found that i can take down enemies with explosives, mines, tanks, aircraft, aa, etc. But for the life of me can't make a kill with a typical rifle, regardless of the Kit. I find in direct confrontations I am usually the one respawning. I have no issue in Single-Player but cant make a kill in Multiplayer.... Is it just bad aim?

Update: Connection is not an issue.

You may be TOO aggressive. Try slowing down a bit, this isn't Quake. You need to stop and find cover and LOOK before you go out into the open. Check behind yourself constantly. If you're in a firefight and find yourself losing, find cover and recover your calmness. When you're ready, go back out, or find a different way to attack. Surprise is always a good element to use. Always crouch or go prone when shooting to increase accuracy and decrease the surface area your opponent has to hit. Look for enemies facing the wrong direction or not paying attention.

Hmmm, it could be a few things. If your ping is higher then you will notice a latency problem as your firing at enemy. Also, if you are not familiar with Multiplayer FPS online play you need to develope a new style of play. In other words, when you shoot, you need to shoot in burst. Dont just hold the trigger down. Also you need to lead the enemy (especially if they are running).

See if the above helps. As far as higher ping goes I can't help you much there. Just find servers in the 30 - 70 range.

To some it up in a harsh way, you just suck.

But thats because single player is nothing like mutiplayer, you will get better, just always use single shot mode and aim for the chest and don't just run in take your time about it, try and get a shot or 2 in them before they notice you.

Agree'd take your time. Running around like a madman will just get you in trouble. Try staying next to wall's/buildings. If you need to get out in the open for any reason choose your route first. Like crossing the train track's stop, look, and listen. Mini map is helpful as well. Everything take's time. Be patient.

Location, location, location. 95% of small arms battles are won because one player has initiative, better cover, or the element of surprise/misdirection. Aim is secondary, though you can really bork up your advantage if you can't hit anything.

The best thing to do is use carbines (they're the most accurate guns) and work on your battlefield awareness, movement, and positioning. Kills will come naturally.

Also, watch players that are better than you! This goes with anything you want to excel at.
